I know it has been quiet here lately. The funny thing is, I launched my Instagram around the same time life decided to throw a plot twist into the room: I got laid off.
So instead of writing new articles for the website, I’ve been doing something much less glamorous and much more urgent. I’m trying to protect my visa, look for a new job, and go through interviews almost every day.
It has been a strange season. I want to write. I have ideas. I have notes. I have half-formed thoughts waiting in the wings. But right now, most of my energy is going into the job hunt and everything that comes with it.
This is not me disappearing. This is me temporarily putting the website on pause while I handle the very real, very intense business of staying legally and professionally afloat.
Once this crazy job hunt chapter is over, I’ll be back here with a bunch of new articles. Probably with more thoughts, more stories, and definitely more perspective than I expected to collect.
